One of the oldest forms of yoga, Traditional Hatha Yoga originated in India some 2000 years ago.
This class includes a series of physical asanas (poses), short pranayama (breathing exercises) and relaxation, to bring the body into alignment and work on building up strength and flexibility in the body and mind. Suitable for all levels.

This extended Hatha Yoga class includes pranayama (breathing techniques) to help strengthen your respiratory system and yoga practice. Suitable for all levels.

Forget about your worries and cares as you flow through a series of poses by linking your breath to movement, while strengthening your body and improving your flexibility and balance. Modifications will be offered throughout making this class suitable for all levels.

This class will guide you through the fundamentals of the Primary Ashtanga series. There is a mix of standing, seated and balancing poses and each class finishes with a relaxation. As you synchronise your breath with this flowing sequence and become familiar with the Ashtanga series, your mind will move into a meditative and calm state while your body becomes stronger and flexible. This class is perfect for those who are after a more dynamic practice. Suitable for all levels.

Restorative yoga is simply that – restorative! This class is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching, breathing and stillness for extended periods of time. Props are used to assist in helping you to hold the poses longer so you can completely relax. Restorative classes are very mellow, making them a good complement to more active practices and an excellent antidote to stress. Suitable for all levels.

In this slower practice you will hold asanas for extended periods of time to work deep into your connective tissue, joints and bones, releasing areas of tension that a dynamic yoga practice cannot always access. This class aims to build strength, flexibility and focus. Hopefully you will leave the class feeling relaxed and restored. Suitable for all levels.

This class is an inward practice which will include practicing different pranayama (breathing techniques). Regular practice will help strengthen your respiratory system and yoga practice, taking you deeper into ones self, finding balance and peace within. This is finished with a mediation. Suitable for all levels.

Yoga is as much for men as it is for women, however several men think a workout includes a set of heavy barbells. Unlike other workouts that often target specific body parts, yoga is a full-body workout, strengthening and stretching nearly every muscle in your body. Yoga can also prevent muscle soreness, improve flexibility, increase focus and boost energy.

This class is focused on changing men’s perspective of yoga. You will be guided through a sequence of asanas which will focus on releasing tightness in problem areas such as the hips, hamstrings, shoulders. Suitable for all levels.

Recovery from addiction of any kind requires healing for the mind, body, and spirit. In this class the focus is on creating a safe space for people to practice yoga.

The class is based on The Minded Addiction Recovery Kit (MARK) of yoga & mindfulness for recovery by the Minded Institute and uses a yogic-based approach to give people in recovery self- regulatory tools by bringing mindful awareness to the body which can support the recovery process for oneself.

The classes will include Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathing exercises) to calm the nervous system and ease the symptoms of problems such as stress, anxiety or sleeping.

The class is beginners-level, and we welcome people in recovery, as well as friends and family!
