Restorative yoga is simply that – restorative! This class is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching, breathing and stillness for extended periods of time.

Props are used to assist in helping you to hold the poses longer so you can completely relax. Restorative classes are very mellow, making them a good complement to more active practices and an excellent antidote to stress. Suitable for all levels.

Yin Yoga

In this slower practice you will hold asanas for extended periods of time to work deep into your connective tissue, joints and bones, releasing areas of stress & tension that a dynamic yoga practice cannot always access.

This class aims to build strength, flexibility and focus as well as leaving you feeling relaxed and restored. Suitable for all levels.

Pranayama & Meditation

This class is an inward practice which includes learning different pranayama (breathing techniques) & meditation.

Regular practice will help strengthen your immune & respiratory system, as well as taking you deeper into your yoga practice allowing you to find balance and peace within.

Men Who Stretch

Yoga is as much for men as it is for women. You will be guided through a sequence of asanas which will focus on releasing tightness in problem areas such as the hips, hamstrings, shoulders.

This class is focused on changing men’s perspective of yoga. Many men think a workout includes a set of heavy barbells. Unlike other workouts that often target specific body parts, yoga is a full-body workout, strengthening and stretching nearly every muscle in your body. Yoga can also prevent muscle soreness, improve flexibility, increase focus and boost energy.

Suitable for all levels.

Yoga For Recovery

In this class the focus is on creating a safe space for people in recovery from any type of addiction to practice yoga to help the healing process.

Recovery from addiction of any kind requires healing for the mind, body, and spirit.

The class is based on The Minded Addiction Recovery Kit (MARK) of yoga & mindfulness for recovery by the Minded Institute and uses a yogic-based approach to give people in recovery self- regulatory tools by bringing mindful awareness to the body which can support the recovery process for oneself.

The classes will include Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathing exercises) to calm the nervous system and ease the symptoms of problems such as stress, anxiety or sleeping.

The class is beginners-level, and we welcome people in recovery, as well as friends and family!
